Pre-Contract Services

Clear and well-structured information requirements at the pre-contract stage are essential for both procurement success and downstream project performance.

For the Appointing Party, ProCS supports the preparation and validation of OIR, PIR, AIR, and EIR, ensuring that requirements are proportionate, unambiguous, and contractually enforceable.

For the Appointed Party, ProCS provides advisory support during tender and pre-appointment stages to improve the understanding and interpretation of EIR and AIR. This includes collaborative reviews, gap analyses, and joint working sessions aimed at strengthening organizational readiness, demonstrating capability, and improving eligibility for future ISO 19650–aligned projects.

Information Management

ProCS provides specialist consultancy services in Information Management, supporting BIM implementation, and ISO 19650–aligned project delivery. Our role is to bridge strategic intent, contractual obligations, and day‑to‑day project execution by acting as a trusted partner undertaking the Information Management Function across the asset lifecycle. Our services are structured to remain fully compatible with traditional project management methodologies while enabling organizations to adopt and benefit from structured, standard‑based information management.

Information Management Function In accordance with ISO 19650ProCS acts as a dedicated Information Management Function, as defined within ISO 19650, supporting both Appointing and Appointed Parties. We govern information workflows, define responsibilities, monitor compliance, and provide assurance that information deliverables (BEP, MIDP, TIDP, PIM, AIM) are produced and managed in line with agreed standards and project objectives.

Common Data Environment (CDE) Advisory The Common Data Environment is central to ISO 19650‑aligned information management. ProCS provides independent advisory services for CDE strategy, selection, configuration, and governance. We ensure that CDE workflows support information security, traceability, and efficient collaboration across all project stakeholders.

Capability and Capacity Assessment

Understanding organizational capability and resourcing is fundamental to realistic BIM and information management strategies. ProCS assesses BIM maturity, information management capability, and delivery capacity at both organizational and project levels, providing actionable recommendations aligned with ISO 19650 and business priorities.

Information Model Federation

Information Model Federation refers to the controlled and periodic aggregation of discipline-specific information models in accordance with the agreed BIM Execution Plan and information delivery strategy. ProCS defines and governs federation strategies aligned with the agreed BIM Uses and project objectives, establishing clear governance rules, validation criteria, and review cycles. This approach ensures that federated models are produced at appropriate intervals, are fit for purpose, reliable for coordination and analysis and support informed decision-making and risk management while remaining consistently aligned with the project’s information management requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Risk Analysis

Information-related risks have direct impact on cost, programme, constructability, and asset performance. ProCS supports risk analysis activities using federated information models, including tender-stage risk reviews, constructability assessments, and the preparation of structured constructability and risk analysis reports. This approach enables early identification of design, coordination, and information-related risks before contract award and during the asset delivery phase.

QA/QC Management

Quality assurance and quality control of information are critical to maintaining trust in project data and management decisions. ProCS defines and manages QA/QC processes supported by periodic, need-driven reporting formats and project-specific dashboards. These tools provide clear visibility of information quality, compliance status, and key issues, enabling structured project commentary and informed management actions throughout the project lifecycle.

BIM Uses

Where appropriate, ProCS supports project teams in defining and governing BIM Uses as part of a controlled information management framework. These may include:

  • 2D Drawing Extraction
  • 4D Programme Integration
  • 5D Cost Integration
  • Multidisciplinary Coordination
  • Visualisation and Communication

Our role is not tool‑driven execution but governance, integration, and assurance, ensuring that BIM Uses are aligned with project objectives and information requirements.

Asset Delivery Phase

During design and construction, structured information delivery underpins coordination, performance, and risk control. ProCS supports the Asset Delivery Phase by overseeing information production, model coordination, change control, and delivery planning, ensuring that PIM and associated deliverables remain aligned with contractual and operational requirements.

Implementation - Migration

We support organizations in the structured adoption or evolution of BIM and information management practices. This includes transitioning from traditional workflows to ISO 19650–aligned processes without disrupting existing governance structures. ProCS contributes by defining implementation roadmaps, aligning organizational objectives with information requirements, and ensuring that BIM adoption delivers measurable business value rather than isolated technical capability.

Asset Operation Phase

Effective asset operation depends on the availability of structured, reliable, and usable information. ProCS supports clients in defining, validating, and maintaining Asset Information Models (AIM) aligned with AIR and operational systems. Our consultancy ensures continuity of information from delivery into operations, supporting maintenance, compliance, and long‑term asset performance.

Where required, this includes defining and governing structured asset data schemas such as COBie, and ensuring that asset data, maintenance information, and system documentation are consistently embedded within the AIM to support efficient facility and asset management.
